Prior to joining the financial services industry, I graduated with an LLB in Scots Law from The University of Glasgow and then worked as a police officer with Central Scotland Police. After deciding on a career change I spent the next four years working with banks whilst completing various qualifications in financial services (CeFA, CeMAP and DipFA) during my spare time.
I am committed to ensuring that my industry knowledge remains relevant and current by placing strong emphasis on my personal development. This, along with the pride and dedication that I place on developing solid personal relationships with my clients, ensures that am I able to offer a rounded, professional and principled service.
In 2013 and 2015 at the Money Management Financial Planner Awards I finished as Runner up in the category of Protection Planner of the Year across the UK.
Outside of my business, I am a proud family man and enjoy spending time at home. In my rare moments of spare time I have a passion for football and various other sports, including golf, tennis and ski-ing, and as a family we enjoy holidaying in Florida.
